AdSense is a Pay Per Click (PPC) based advertising program that is quite popular among bloggers. In addition to being able to cultivate the spirit of blogging, AdSense can also be used as an income field.

The PPC provided by AdSense to Publisher (a party that cooperates in the field of advertising) is somewhat larger than other PPC, therefore not a few who apply for their site to participate in this program.

If you want to register a blog to Google AdSense as an ad publisher, it is good if you first understand the differences between AdSense Account that I will explain below. This is so that you can choose which Adsense account you really want.

Differences between Hosted and Non Hosted AdSense Account

The difference between these two account is actually not much different, both display ads on your blog site.

The only differences between these two account lie in their Domain, platform, and location.

Here are reviews from each AdSense account so that you are not confused when you want to register a blog as an AdSense publisher.

Hosted AdSense Account

  • You can only register for a Hosted AdSense account through the Blogspot and Youtube platforms. All you have to do is display the earnings label and follow the process. It costs nothing at all (Free).
  • Being the most owned by publishers because it is easy during the registration process. Easy to mean that is only one review only, and of course comply with the AdSense program policies that have been set.
  • AdSense Hosted account cannot be used on TLD (Top Level Domain) domains such as .com, .net, .org, .in, .site and other TLD domains. This account can only be used on blogspot domains, such as Phamdom.blogspot.com only.
  • It cannot be used on platforms other than Blogspot and Youtube, if you use it for a blog site, then it cannot be used on Wordpress, Joomla !, Drupal and other CMS platforms.

Non Hosted AdSense Account

  • Non Hosted AdSense account can be registered through any platform, can be through the Blogspot platform hosted by Google by using TLD Domains such as .com, .in, .net and so on. If you use the Blogspot platform, you only spend enough to buy a Domain. Domain prices adjust from the domain provider itself.
  • Less used by publishers because it is more difficult in the registration process. The difficult point here is to go through two review processes first. The first review is on the part of placing the ad code on the blog, and the second review is waiting to be accepted by AdSense or not. According to some sources I have read, the second survey process was reviewed directly by humans, not machines as in the first survey.
  • Non Hosted AdSense account are free to use anywhere, such as Blogspot, Youtube, Wordpress, and other CMS platforms.

If you really want to work with the AdSense program, please first select what account you want, then customize it to your own liking.
