What is a Zombie Blog and Its Benefits
Zombie, I'm sure this term is no longer unfamiliar to you, or even you also enjoy watching zombie movies hehe. Speaking of zombies, I don't know if it turns out that there are blogs that are also termed as zombie blogs. Want to know what a zombie blog is? Come on, keep reading until you're done.
What Is A Zombie Blog?
Zombie blog is a blog that has died (deleted) and then revived like a zombie. That is, blogs created using free platforms such as blogspot, wordpress.com, and other platforms. The blog has been removed by its owner and its domain address can be re-registered.
For example, suppose I once had a blog with a free domain address such as www.telecom.blogspot.com, but I deleted this blog a few years ago. Well, when searched, it turned out that it could be revived and then used for blogging again. That’s what a zombie blog is called.
Not all deleted blogs can be revived immediately, usually waiting months or years in advance. For a period of time the blog can be revived, until now I myself have not found a positive time.
Benefits of a Zombie Blog
Although hearing the name of a zombie is awful, but a zombie blog actually has many benefits. Try to remember what a zombie blog is, a blog with a free domain that was once active and then deleted and revived.
Because blogs have been used before, they usually have a better quality than newly created blogs. Blogs like this usually already have backlinks, visitors, and so on. It is very beneficial if you use it as the main blog.
In addition, you can use zombie blogs as network blogs, backlinks, or sold to people who need them. Usually people use zombie blogs as a place to plant backlinks that are directed to the main blog belonging to the person.
Believe it or not, backlinks are very useful to improve the quality of the blog. Because of that, there are a lot of paid backlink building services out there and the price is not cheap in my opinion.
Well that's why many bloggers are vying to get zombie blogs, they use zombie blogs as free backlinks for their main blogs. It definitely saves more money to improve the quality of their blog.
Oh yes, not all zombie blogs are good to use, yes, blogs that are deleted due to a lot of spam or other violations, in fact, the quality of the blog becomes bad.
You can see Pagerank, Page Authority, Blog Age, History, Backlinks, and Domain Name as a reference in choosing a zombie blog. Here is the description:
- Pagerank: Find a high Pagerank blog, this will be better.
- Page Authority: the higher the PA, the better
- Age of the Blog: The older the better
- History: do not take zombie blogs that have been exposed to spam or other things that violate the policy.
- Backlinks: The more backlinks the more likely the blog has good quality, but not always blogs that have many backlinks have good quality. That's why I say "possible".
- Domain Names: it's best if the domain name is short and easy to remember, fits your criteria, and/or has a unique name.
Software To Find Zombie Blogs
To find zombie blogs easily, you can try paid software by Bowo Ekowidodo named Zombie Checker with a price of about 5-7.5 dollar. Although it pays, I think the price given is too cheap compared to the results or profits you get.
That's a little bit of information about zombie blogs and their benefits. You can use it as a container or additional tool for blogging to be more joss.
That's the post this time. May be useful. Good luck and see you in the next post.
